VI Lab at 1 Cathedral Square
The VI Lab research group moved to new facilities in Cathedral Square in November 2018. These facilities are unique internationally and comprise a set of state-of-the-art equipped rooms for experiments across disciplines in vision related research; image/video analysis and processing, computer vision, artificial intelligence, robotics, video communications and psychometrics. We support research from the acquisition of physiological signals and multiple video formats to the analysis, processing and evaluation of user experiences with professional equipment matched to international professional standards.
Experimental spaces
The VI Lab group has access to a purpose built Studio, Psychophysics Suite, Subjective Testing Suite and Human Participants Lab, as well as two research offices with a capacity for nearly 60 students and research associates.
